Room dividers to dream about

When building a new home in Australia there is an huge emphasis on passive heating & cooling, which is definitely a good thing, after all, we benefit not just from helping our environment, by reducing our carbon footprint, but it also helps to reduce the running costs of the family home.
In the design of our dream house we looked for ways to allow air flow from the front thru to the back of our home, but still maintain an internal wall between our formal lounge area & the family living area or great room.

Below are some wonderful inspiration photos from  Porter Davis Homes .
This is the view from the dining area

& this is the other side of the wall. I must get one of those gorgeous fireplaces too!

I love the cube style shelving. Would you leave them empty like they have here or would you use it to display some wonderful treasures?

Or you could always opt to be more artistic with this Hanging bookshelf curtain, it would certainly create a WOW factor. I found this little beauty over at Materialicious

If you have any inspiration pics that you think i would love,PLEASE send them my way, I am always open to suggestion

That hanging bookcase curtain certainly has a WOW factor, I've never seen anything like it!

I would really love to have some floating shelves in my little office but am unsure how to go about it...

Mmm interesting comment that floating wall. Doesn't really hold much though does it.

Floating shelves are definitely an interesting topic.
