Sydney Stop over

We took a mini break this weekend & stayed a couple of nights in Sydney

 

 

We visited Sydney Tower so we could show the kids the view

 

We stayed at Darling Harbour, my son was obsessed with the military ships at the Maritime Museum

 

 

 

I got to enjoy some early morning photography

 

I love the mix of old & new when it comes to the cities architecture

 

Ah the Harbour bridge, its always a thrill to drive across it, one day I would love to do the bridge climb!!!

 

 

The Sea Life Aquarium was fantastic & a real high lite for the kids

 

I probably should have used a lens hood for this pic to eliminate the glare from the sun.

 

We really had a great time & I look forward to going back again soon, there is so much to see & do in Sydney not to mention all the fabulous restaurants you have to choose from.

 

Good Times ahead I would say!!!!

Spring is here

YAHOOOO!!!

I love the warmer weather, it gives me a "spring" in my step

Pardon the pun!

 

I can feel some picnics coming on, how about you?

 

Do any of my fellow Aussie bloggers have some fun planned for fathers day?

 

The dream guy has to work, so just a regular day at our house, although I am thinking a trip into Newcastle to visit the farmers market might be on the cards.

What have you got planned for your weekend?

We have a soccer game for my 9yr old son, unfortunately they get beaten most weeks, but they haven't played this team before so fingers crossed they get a win & regain a little team confidence!!

Tonight we are off to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday, Im making the cake pops. Should be a tonne of fun, her parties usually are.

Dream child No1 is also coming home for the weekend, We haven't seen her for about 6 weeks so the whole family is eagerly awaiting her arrival, Im sure she loves the group hugs whilst she is still trying to get out of her car,, he he he!

Disappearing Comments

Hi everyone,

 I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

The weather isn't being particularly kind here, it is supposed to be spring, but it actually feels a lot like winter, it is raining, cold & miserable

.

I have spent my weekend sewing some new cushions & I will reveal them as soon as they are all complete, it has been fun to do something a little creative!!

Now I  also been popping by every ones blogs this week, but for some reason when I try to leave a comment, as soon as I post it it disappears.

I tried searching for an answer in the google help section but got no joy.

Has this been happening to anyone else?

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Help me please...somebody....I'm not good at remaining silent, LOL!!!!

Here's hoping for some sunshine for the last week of our school holidays & an aswer to my little problem!!!
