Accent Chairs

It seems everyone is getting one , IF, they don' t have one already!!!!
An accent chair that is...
Every where I look I'm seeing beautiful accent chairs.
They are used in bathrooms, bedrooms, entry ways, reading nooks, study's, hallways & of course the loungeroom, great room & living room.
No designer or stylish decorator leaves a room without placing some kind of amazing chair in there as an accent.
What a great idea for creating a functional eye catching feature!

It doesn't matter what your style preferences are, modern, traditional, French, Danish,, contemporary or eclectic, there is a style & colour for EVERY room.

Just take a peak at some of these accent pieces...

Perhaps there are some great ideas here for a way YOU can add in an accent chair or two at your house, unless of course your are stylish  & already have one!!!

I especially like the idea of popping one into the bedrooms, How about you, where is your accent chair now?

Unfortunately I don't own an accent chair (yet!), but I love the turquoise print one in the bedroom above :)

That is a good point Trish and I would love a Louis 'accent' chair in my bedroom when I can afford one! The images you have posted are all lovely too.

I have a winged back chair in my bedroom. It used to be in the lounge but as my boys have grown so have the number of dirty smudges on my chair! I've moved it to my bedroom where I occasionally escape for a moment of peace. I'm hoping to have it recovered in a bolder fabric one day.

They are all lovely, but the first one is my favourite. I have two at the moment, one in my bedroom and the other in a random corner across from my kitchen... I don't 'love' either, but I rescued and revamped both, so they have adopted us for now!

I would love to have two on one side of my lounge room to create a bit of a cosy reading nook! Perfect for sitting and flicking through Modern Home Magazine!!

I have an accent chair in my master bath that I am getting ready to slip in a white linen. Don't mind the black dog hair;)! Your photos are fun, but the first one is painful as I passed up a chair like that for pennies.... what was I thinking?!
Awaiting your visit to the states;)!

I love the turquoise chair in the bedroom. I don't have an accent chair in our bedroom yet but intend to put one in when we renovate it later this year. I already have my fabric with a touch of turquoise. For now - thanks for some gorgeous inspiration. Michelle
p.s. I am having a giveaway if you want to join in.
